TFM Weekly News 29/7/16

Hi everyone and welcome to the third TFM blog weekly news roundup. This is will be where you can catch up on what's been going on in the ETS2 and ATS community if you stopped paying attention halfway through, let’s get started.

SCS has announced that they are going to be implementing steering wheel adjustments into both of the games next update. This means you will be able to move your wheel up and down and left to right, meaning that the game is even more realistic than it was before!

TruckersMP has been extremely busy lately, from new DLC’s, to applications, to promotions, lets see what has been going on! A little while back, SCS Software released an update for the Arizona addon, and it was very quickly implemented into Multiplayer. This has been a big hit for all the ATS players, with daily races held at the Tucson race track,, and others just going there to race for fun, I think it’s safe to say that the Arizona DLC was a huge success in multiplayer!

The team have recently opened forum moderator applications, and they are open until 5th August, which is when they will be announced. If you think you have what it takes to become a moderator, then head over to the TruckersMP forums and apply today. There has also been a round of new promotions in the team. A fair few people have recently been promoted to In-Game Administrator, so we at TruckersFM congratulate them on their next step up in the TruckersMP community.

That’s it from us this week, have a good week, and we’ll see you next time!

TFM Blog 13/05/16

Hi everyone and welcome to the second TFM blog weekly news roundup. This is will be where you can catch up on whats been going on in the ETS2 and ATS community if you stopped paying attention halfway through, let’s get started.

SCS has yet again teased us with more teasers of the two DLC's that they are currently working on. They show us the new types of industry they have implemented into the "Viva la France" DLC, showing us some magnificent screenshots of a Mercedes, an Iveco and a MAN going past the nuclear power plants in France. They once again stress that is very much a work in progress via the "Work in Progress" at the bottom of the screenshots.

Another thing that SCS has teased us with are more Arizona screenshots showing buautiful panoramas of the many open roads contained in "The Grand Canyon State". You can even drive along the Grand Canyon and see the Colorado River from the top.

This week has been quiet, lets hope next week have more to talk about. Your Drive, Your Music, TFM

TFM News 22/4/16

Hi everyone and welcome to the first TFM blog weekly news roundup. This is will be where you can catch up on whats been going on in the ETS2 and ATS community if you stopped paying attention halfway through, let’s get started.

Good news for Rocket league fans, as SCS and Psyonix team up to make additions to their respective games. ETS2 players can look forward to 2 new items popping up in their accessories, the high octane car and the infamous rocket league ball that hangs from the ceiling in your trucks cabin. Rocket league players have not been forgotten however, with what looks to be a DAF as an antenna called “The ETS2 Rig Antenna”.

SCS also decided to show us a sneak peak of the “Viva la France!” DLC that adds Sothern France into ETS2. In these photos we get to see the great amount of work that the SCS team has been putting into this magnificent DLC. We can also see that SCS has spent a great deal of time trying to make the road systems as accurate as possible, adding in motorway junctions with roundabouts. They add a disclaimer at the end saying “This add on is still very much in progress”.

ATS players have something to look forward to as the Arizona DLC gets its nickname “The Grand Canyon state”. They say that they are trying very hard to portray the logistical obstacles that the wonder of nature poses. They add that “The Grand Canyon State” is taking shape very visibly and that they are egger to take it to the beta testers in the coming weeks.

In TruckersMP news, the latest TruckersMP update (0.2.0,8.1 Alpha) is available to download on the TruckersMP website over at https://www.truckersmp.com. It supports the latest ATS and ETS versions (as of 22/4/16). Hopefully we see you on the roads very soon.

If you feel like you have what it takes to become a part of the TruckersMP team then now is your chance to see as media team recruitment has opened. There are however, a few requirements you must fulfill in order to be sucessful. Go over to the forum post located at https://forum.truckersmp.com/index.php?/topic/29881-media-team-recruitment/ to find out if you have what it takes, Best of luck

#1 - Meet & Join the team

As our first small project, we thought it would be best to introduce ourselves. Each member of the team, in this blog post have written a small paragraph In order to do this. They will provide a few things that they consider interesting about themselves. This will can be both about themselves in general, but also about themselves in the Trucking community.

How about I start us off!

I am Chris. I am an Admin and the Head of the Editorial team here at TruckersFM. I am 19 years old. I am from (and live in) the United Kingdom. I have a great passion for Simulator games. I have been playing ETS2MP/TruckersMP for around 2 years now (From day 1!) I am a TruckersMP In-Game Admin. As the Editorial Team Head I oversee the editorial members, seek new team members and overlook the projects that the team take on. I will also be posting most of these blog posts. At least for now. As a TFM Admin I also overlook the Presenters that are in our team. I recruit new, encourage our current Presenters, and deal with some server side stuff. I also do some community management when it comes to getting new people involved with TFM.

How to make your own Saxonio: take a teaspoon full of being german, half a cup of spare-time-confused and a full cup of being a DJ.
Hey, I am Saxonio. You surely may know me as "The German" on TFM. I am the founder of the Editorials Office together with DJ Chris. Unfortunately I don't have so much time to handle the management of the Editorials Office but I'm still in the team and so you will read something written by me from time to time. You may ask yourself: "What the heck is he also doing in his free time?" Thats easy to say and it don't takes to much words. I am a geocacher, I work in my free time for the emergency service as a kind of first responder, I do my shows on TFM, I have 2 YouTube Channels (one in german and a new one in english) and 2 Facebook Pages, I learn how to drive inline skates, I am dungeonmaster in Dungeons and Dragons, I love to listen to music and sometimes I also enjoy to have simply a walk or reading a book.
I hope that was enough informations for you so far
Have a nice day, evening or whenever you read this.
Yours DJ Saxonio.

Hi, Im Ben, known in the TruckersMP community as Trademark or TrademarkGamer. I've been in the community for a year and a bit. I don't really know what I'm going to do right now. Ive applied for a few apprentices, jobs and colleges, but when I get the offers I will have a hard decision. The three jobs that are swirling around my head right now are lorry driver, Police officer or Air traffic controller. All of which are interests of mine.
If I was to go for the lorry driving option, I would aim for working for Eddie Stobart, One of the fastest growing haulage companies in the world. If I was to go for the Police, I'd work for the met as they are the police force of London and if I was to go for the ATC option I would hopefully control at Heathrow (eye test permitting).
Whatever I do with my life I will always be a part of this great community.

It’s  me. Teichinator. You may know me from TruckersMP Multiplayer or from some YouTube videos. Whatever I am a 16 years old. I live in eastern Germany.
I am a student at high school in Radeberg, the city of the worldwide known beer. I am in grade ten. I learn English and Russian. To improve my English skills I am going to do an exchange year in Bournemouth from September to July of 2017.
I have been to United Kingdom for two times. I have been to Wales and Scotland. I have to say, I like Scotland a bit more than England, maybe I have just been at the wrong places.
I hope I could give you a little view into my life. If you have got any questions just write me an email to teichinator@gmx.de
We see each other in TruckersMP Multiplayer and I am looking forward keeping you up to date, whats going on in the world of truckers. Have a safe and funny drive

The Team was started by DJ Saxonio and Admin Chris. The team is now being run by Chris.
